The more I learn from bloggers like you the more I realize what I don’t know. I never new there was this pool of money that sort of sat in the great valley between what VCs do and what HedgeFunds and big acquirers do. Private Equity funds are kind of like VCs but want more traditional models and like hedge funds in buying companies but smaller and participate more in the process of building a company up so a Large hedgefund or corporation will buy them. HMMMMpf. How come they don’t teach that in business school?
