It isn’t all bad news on the angel investor capital front. Recent reports from the University of New Hampshire Center for Venture Research, Angel Soft’s trend tracker, and Panelists interview from the SE Private Equity Conference scheduled for April (sePrivateEquity.org) all indicate that although slow, angel investments in to early stage companies are still happening. Karen Rands puts forth in this blog post, that for some, the economy is their excuse for the experience they would have had anyway because their business is simply not investor ready.
